You have to buy some heller hardware typically to get top end game quality out of a laptop and will essentially pay 2x a desktop price, but like I said if you need a laptop it should work.

I really have no experience with Warhammer stats and not much direct experience w/ laptop cards. If you turn of shaders and advanced lighting, those cards should do all right. Whether that equals "medium" quality in Warhammer I don't know.

I bought a Dell 1720 Laptop with Intel Dual Core, 2 gig Ram, and Nvidia 8600 with a 17 inch monitor for my Wife, and seems to be running it fine......
I have nothing lower than that build, all my stuff is being shipped to the states or i would build a machine real quick with a 7600 or 7900 to check........
I think you will be fine on release, now, in beta you might have some Lag.............Just because it is beta and is being tuned over time. I had some Lag this weekend to with my laptop, but it was the laptop, i run fine now......
Dell has pretty good gaming laptops for cheap if you are willing to wait for it to be shipped. I am not big on laptops for gaming, you can build 4x more powerfull machine for the price of a low-end laptop, just like the one i link for Sam.

Timefreak, why did you friend put such slow ram on that awesome system, such a waste. It supports up to 1066 mhz, at least 800mhz. His ram is the bottleneck of that systems pipeline.
Should be good to go with that system. Bought Niki that 17" HP with the laptop 2ghz progcessor it is still running WoW great..

My first choice was 4g's of much better ram , but he got tight.. That and some guy he works with built a box for $700 ( with out a case ) and my friend cant see past why his is not that cheap.
